It is in the confirmation email the portal sent when you paid. On the official page, add the email you applied with, your date of birth and the security code shown. Your details go only to the official site - not to us.

Frequently asked questions

1. How do I check my Vietnam e-visa status?
Enter your e-visa application number above. We open Vietnam's official status page with the number filled in; add the email you applied with, your date of birth and the security code, and the portal shows your live result.
2. Where do I find my Vietnam e-visa application number?
In the confirmation email the official portal sent after you paid. Search your inbox and spam folder for it. Without the number the portal cannot look the application up.
3. How long does a Vietnam e-visa take?
The Immigration Department quotes three working days, and five to seven is common in busy periods. Weekends and Vietnamese public holidays don't count, and Tet stops processing for about a week.
4. Is this the official Vietnam e-visa site?
No. MyVietnamVisas is a private agency. The live status comes from the official portal, evisa.gov.vn, which this page opens for you; your details are entered there, not here.
5. My e-visa status hasn't changed in over a week. What should I do?
Check whether the portal is asking for a correction, then contact its support address. If your flight is close, a new application with urgent processing may be quicker than waiting.
6. I applied with MyVietnamVisas. Where is my status?
In your account: sign in with the email you applied with. We also email you at each step and send the e-visa as soon as it is issued.
